Design for print: Good is// Progress crit..

Peer feedback//

Comment on the extent to which the research and development of the presented briefs demonstrates a significant understanding of the chosen sunject matter/ problem//

Comments:

- Come along way in terms of research, good contextual research and experimentation of ideas, perhaps a few more drawings (for the booklet) to explore ideas.

- Explored a good range of existing polka dots thats relevant to what you're doing.

Comment on the extent to which the work presented/ proposed exploits the practical and conceptual potential of the brief//

Comments:

- Great experiments with composition and layout, both playful and contemporary. Possible development for merchandise for event/ other products? (You mentioned t-shirts etc). Maybe a bit more information in the book and try and make the circle of text round.

Comment on the proposed range of products/ deliverables/ media/ formats to be produced in response to clearly identified problems/ briefs:

Comments:

- Need to concentrate more on packaging as book and adverts seem quite developed.

- Push the event decoration further, look into whats usually used, huge banners, vinyls, floor vinyls, maybe try the event tickets, posters for while your there.

Additional comments//

- Really good use of black and white, contemporary, modern, sophisticated. Consider your use of stock as this could really effect your print quality/ aesthetics.

- Good shape and format for the book.

- The black and white works really well, if you imagine all the variety of colours that will be used in the show and that its probably best to keep this simple.

- Experiment with print techniques to explore and make more obvious with your original concept of the mathematical values.

- Signage and wayfinding.

- Could maybe try to use a spot colour that just appears in the logo.
