Enterprise// Business: Funding our business..

Funding our business and our sources of income is going to become a very important part of setting up our business. So far we have proposed to have several ways of which we will be able to 'make money'. These include the renting of shop space to young designers/ students, the small percentage of commission that we will take from their sales and then the branding and identity business studio.

There are many ways in which we can get the money to get us started, as the incomes above are what we will be getting when we actually have the business up and running. We obviously need the money to start the business before we can take these into account.

I started off by researching into Business banking and what banks have to offer a new business in terms of business advice and funding.

The Princes Trust//

The Princes Trust was set up by Prince Charles 35 years ago, it is a trust that helps young people who are less fortunate. The trust helps young individuals and communities with funding to set up businesses or projects that will benefit young people.

This is a possibility for our business as we would be offering a service were young people/ students would be able to sell their work in our shop.

I found this website where it asks you 5 questions about you and your business and then tells you the different types of funding you can receive for starting up your new business.
